英文摘要 Rapid light-response curve (LC) of electron transport rate (ETRR) can be measured quickly and easily, providing reliable information about cardinal points of photosynthesis. However, in higher plants, the relationship of ETRR to steady-state photosynthetic rate (AS) is not always clear, especially when stomatal conductance (gs) interference occurs. In this study, we used two C4 perennial grasses, Pennisetum purpureum and Miscanthus floridulus, to elucidate these photosynthetic processes. ETRR × gs reflected the variation in AS of C4 plant leaves, with different chlorophyll concentration under various temperature, irradiance, and relative humidity (RH) conditions, and AS was influenced by both stomatal and nonstomatal factors. ETRR can be used to estimate the LC of AS of the leaves of two C4 plant species under moderate to high temperature and RH conditions. Therefore, ETRR can be useful for developing rapid, non-destructive estimations of photosynthetic capacity and applied to the study of eco-physiological indicators in terrestrial plants.
